O Level Mathematics Exams
The "O" in O level stands for "ordinary," so this exam is typically taken by students aged 13 - 16.
The Cambridge O Level Mathematics (Syllabus D) (4024) exam covers various mathematical topics, including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, and statistics. The exam usually consists of two or three papers, each of which may include multiple-choice, short-answer, and long-answer questions. The exam typically lasts between 2 to 3 hours per paper.
There are a total of 39 topics to be covered in this syllabus. Two components assess this syllabus:
Paper 1 (non-calculator paper) (80 marks weighed at 50% of the total), Paper 1 consists of approximately 25 short-answer questions.
Paper 2 (calculator paper) (100 marks weighed at 50% of total).
